4. Just for the heck of it, I turned these graphics into links back to Creative Mac just in case somebody decides to lift my tutorial and claim it as his or her own. To do this, just click on your object. Then move to the Rollover palette. Create a new rollover state by clicking on the little page icon at the bottom of the palette. When you do this, a new state caller "Over" will appear. Change "Over" to "Down" in the pull-down menu. Then click on the Behavior icon at the bottom of the Rollover palette. In the dialog that pops up, choose "Add Behavior > Go To URL." Then just type in the address and click OK.

All clear? Here are some thoughts before we move on to the next step:

• When you look in the rollover palette, make sure you've selected "Normal" when you prepare this portion of the animation.
• By making the object's opacity 100 percent in the composition timeline, it will remain at 100 percent unless otherwise directed.
• By setting the object's transition in the Time-Independent Timeline, I've ensured that the transition will not loop. Instead, after the one-second fade in, the object returns to its Composition Timeline setting of 100 percent opacity. Since its setting is at 100 percent, it will remain at 100 percent even when the entire composition starts over. (Refreshing the page will start the transition all over again.)
