iBEAM BroadcastingCorp., a global
streaming media network (SMN), and Regent
Entertainment, have announced that "BoltNeck," a full length feature
film distributed by Regent, will premier worldwide on-line via iBEAM's
streaming technology on Oct. 31 on windowsmedia.com.
The one-time event demonstrates a major film studio's confidence in iBEAM's
ability to Webcast a theatrical feature. Regent Entertainment, the studio
that delivered the Academy Award-winning film "Gods and Monsters," is
known for its quality productions and selected iBEAM due to its ability
to host a broadband film at 300K and 750K and to deliver VHS-quality audio
and video to a global Internet audience.
